Jazz Efterrätt je sdružení mladých profesionálních hudebníků, kteří společně hrají a vystupují od svého vzniku v roce 1998. Tvoří jej absolventi pražských konzervatoří, kteří dnes pracují v umělecké sféře především jako muzikanti, ale také jako aranžéři a skladatelé jazzové a populární hudby. Od samého vzniku došlo v obsazení skupiny jen k nepatrným změnám, a v současnosti Jazz Efterrätt vystupuje v tomto složení:

Skupina Jazz Efterrätt ve své tvorbě nadžánrově spojuje mnoho hudebních stylů a je pro ní typický ostrý kontrast funkově pulsující rytmiky, melodických linek a jazzových sól. Žánrově je skupina vnímána na pomezí jazzu, funky a soulu, sami hudebníci si však rádi zahrají i latinsko-americkou hudbu, swing či dixieland.
Svou první desku vydal Jazz Efterrätt v roce 2001 pod názvem „Nakousnuto“. Toto debutové album v sobě skrývá nejrůznější hudební myšlenky i rozmanitý materiál, které vzájemně pojí osobitá zvuková představa. Na desce se jako hosté podíleli Jan Hasenöhrl (trubka), Miroslav Šisler (perkuse), Ridina Ahmed (zpěv) a Rylo Williams (rap).
Na jaře 2006 vychází druhá deska Jazz Efterrätt s názvem „Festival ist the BEST!“, která, až na skladbu Herbieho Hancocka „Maiden Voyage“, obsahuje výhradně původní kompozice. Setkáváme se zde s novým repertoárem a kapela působí mnohem vyzrálejším a ucelenějším dojmem.
V rámci úzké spolupráce s Českým národním symfonickým orchestrem doprovázel Jazz Efterrätt hudební hvězdy Moisese Parkera, Andreu Bocelliho, Chrise Brubecka, Barryho Masona a mnohé z domácích popových i jazzových kapel a zpěváků (spolupráce s Monkey Business, King Size, Laura a její tygři, Hot Line, Pražským Výběrem, Big Bandem Českého Rozhlasu, Tonny Lakatošem, Phillipem Nikwue, Miro Žbirkou, Leonou Machálkovou, Lucií Bílou, Láďou Kerndlem). Tento výčet potvrzuje, že členové kapely Jazz Efterrätt jsou vyhledávanými studiovými hráči, což mimo jiné dokázali i deskou La Parada, která vznikla jako výsledek dvouletého studiového soustředění trumpetisty Jana Hasenöhrla a Lukáše Chejna. Jazz Efterrätt se na této desce podíleli jak autorsky, tak i hráčsky.

Founded in 1998, Jazz Efterrätt has become a formation of young professional musicians, the graduates of Prague’s conservatories of music. Nowadays, they all deal with artistic work, mainly as musicians, but they also compose and arrange jazz and pop music. Since the very beginning of the band’s existence, only few changes appeared in the configuration, and today the band is formed by:

- Ondřej Pomajsl – drums
Jazz Efterrätt goes beyond the genre’s limits, and link together various music styles. Their typical feature is the apparent contrast of funky rhythm, melodious lines, and the jazz solos. The genre ranking would be somewhere on the edge of jazz, funky, and soul. The musicians, however, like to play even Latin American Music, Swing or Dixieland.
The band made their first CD entitled “Nakousnuto” in 2001. This debut album comprises different music styles, and stuff linked together by a typical sound concept. Jan Hasenöhrl on trumpet, Miroslav Šisler on percussions, Ridina Ahmed (vocals), and Rylo Williams (rap) appeared as guest artists on this record.
In the spring of 2006, the second CD, entitled “Festival ist the BEST! “, will be released. Except for Herbie Hancock’s song „Maiden Voyage“, the own compositions compile the album. The band makes here more mellow and compact impression.
In the cooperation with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Efterrätt accompanied such stars as Moises Parker, Andrea Bocelli, Chris Brubeck, Barry Mason, and Czech pop, and jazz groups (Monkey Business, King Size, Laura a její tygři, Hot Line, Pražský Výběr, Big Band Českého Rozhlasu, Tonny Lakatoš, Phillipe Nikwue, Miro Žbirka, Leona Machálková, Lucie Bílá, Láďa Kerndl). The above listing proves that the members of Jazz Efterrätt are much-sought-for studio players. This fact can also be confirmed by the two-year’s studio concentration training of Jan Hasenöhrl, and Lukáš Chejn. Jazz Efterrätt participated in the recording both as the authors, and the musicians.

Jazz Efterrätt ist ein Verein junger professioneller Musiker, die seit der Entstehung im Jahre 1998 miteinander spielen und auftreten. Seine Mitglieder sind Absolventen Prager Konservatorien, die heutzutage im Künstlergebiet vor allem als Musiker, aber auch als Arrangeure und Komponisten von Jazz und Popmusic tätig sind. Seit der Existenz der Gruppe kam es nur zu winzigen Änderungen in der Besetzung und Jazz Efterrätt tritt gegenwärtig in folgender Zusammensetzung auf:

Die Band Jazz Efterrätt überschreitet die Genres und verbindet in der Produktion viele Musikstile. Scharfer Kontrast der pulsierenden Funkrhythmik, der Melodielinien und der Jazzsolos ist für sie typisch. Die Band befindet sich an der Grenze der Genres Jazz, Funk und Soul, die Musiker selbst spielen jedoch gerne auch latein-amerikanische Musik, Swing oder Dixieland.
Ihre erste Platte gab Jazz Efterrätt im Jahre 2001 mit dem Titel „Nakousnuto“ (Angebissen) heraus. Dieses Debütalbum besteht aus unterschiedlichsten Musikgedanken und vielfältigem Material, die von einer persönlichen Lautvorstellung vereinigt werden. An der Entstehung der Platte haben als Gäste Jan Hasenöhrl (Trompete), Miroslav Šisler (Perkussionsinstrumente), Ridina Ahmed (Gesang) und Rylo Williams (Rap) teilgenommen.
Im Frühling 2006 gibt Jazz Efterrätt die zweite Platte mit dem Titel „Festival ist the BEST!“ heraus, die mit der Ausnahme der Komposition von Herbie Hancock „Maiden Voyage“ ausschließlich ursprüngliche Kompositionen beinhaltet. Wir begegnen hier einem neuen Repertoire und die Band wirkt viel ausgereifter und kompakter.
Im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit mit dem Tschechischen nationalen Symphonieorchester begleitete Jazz Efterrätt die Musikstars wie Moises Parker, Andrea Bocelli Chris Brubeck, Barry Mason und viele der heimischen Pop- und Jazzbands und Sänger (Zusammenarbeit mit Monkey Business, King Size, Laura a její tygři, Hot Line, Pražský Výběr, Big Band des Tschechischen Rundfunks, Tonny Lakatoš, Phillip Nikwue, Miro Žbirka, Leona Machálková, Lucie Bílá, Láďa Kerndl).Die Auflistung bestätigt, dass die Mitglieder der Band Jazz Efterrätt ausgesuchte Musikspieler sind, was sie unter anderem mit der Platte La Parada bewiesen, die als Ergebnis einer intensiven zweijährigen Studioarbeit des Trompetespieler Jan Hasenöhrl mit Lukáš Chejn entstand. Jazz Efterrätt nimmt an dieser Platte als Autor und Interpret teil.

Jazz Efterrätt è un gruppo musicale composto da professionisti i quali suonano e si esibiscono insieme sin dal 1998. I membri si sono laureati presso vari conservatori praghesi e attualmente lavorano nell’ambito artistico sopratutto come musicisti, ma anche come arrangiatori e compositori di musica jazz e pop. Dalla nascita del gruppo la costituzione è cambiata minimamente e attualmente Jazz Efterrätt è composto dai seguenti artisti:

- Martin Plachý – sassofono alto
- Tomáš Uhlík – chitarra basso
- Petr Beneš – tastiera / pianoforte

Il gruppo Jazz Efterrätt oltrepassa i confini dei generi e coniuga nella propria produzione molti linguaggi musicali. Tipico è il contrasto tagliente di un ritmo funk pulsante, di linee melodiche e assoli. Gli stessi suonano con piacere anche la musica latino-americana, swing e dixieland.
Il primo disco di Jazz Efterrätt è uscito nel 2001 sotto il titolo “Nakousnuto” (Morsicato). Questo debutto fonde diverse idee musicali e materiali vari che vengono collegati da un concetto personale del suono. Al disco hanno collaborato come ospiti Jan Hasenöhrl (tromba), Miroslav Šisler (percussioni), Ridina Ahmed (voce) e Rylo Williams (rap).
Nella Primavera del 2006 uscirà il secondo disco di Jazz Efterrätt con il titolo “Festival ist the BEST!”. Il disco consiste esclusivamente di composizioni originali, fa eccezione il pezzo di Herbie Hancock “Maiden Voyage”. Viene introdotto un repertorio nuovo e il gruppo si presenta più maturo e compatto.

Jazz Efterrätt ha accompagnato star musicali come Moises Parker, Andrea Bocelli, Chris Brubeck, Barry Mason e molti gruppi e cantanti di pop e jazz del nostro paese (varie collaborazioni con Monkey Business, King Size, Laura a její tygři, Hot Line, Pražský Výběr, Big Band della Radio Ceca, Tonny Lakatoš, Phillip Nikwue, Miro Žbirka, Leona Machálková, Lucie Bílá, Láďa Kerndl). Questo elenco dimostra quanto siano richiesti i membri di questo gruppo; un altro esempio è l’incisione del disco La Parada, creato dal trombettista Jan Hasenöhrl insieme a Lukáš Chejn, durante due anni di laboratorio intensivo di studio. Gli artisti di Jazz Efterrätt hanno partecipato alla realizzazione del disco sia come autori che come interpreti.
